JANUSIAN THINKING - ASSAULT ON MUMBAI
On Wednesday evening terrorists launched a major attack on India's commercial capital, Mumbai. Details remain sketchy and there are numerous conflicting reports, but it is clear that the terrorists targeted at least ten separate locations in one of the most significant international terrorism events since the Al-Qaeda attacks in New York and Washington on 11 September 2001. International hotels, an airport, a restaurant, a hospital and Mumbai's main train station were among the targets. At the time of reporting on 27 November, terrorists have killed over 120 people and injured around 300.
