Indian company seeking to list on AIM

We were approached by a nominated advisor (Nomad) seeking to list an Indian real estate developer on AIM. In order to comply with London Stock Exchange regulations, it asked us to carry out comprehensive due diligence on the applicant company. Our contacts in India advised us that the firm was known to employ unethical business practices and that, as a result, it had a generally poor reputation in that sector. These and other issues resulted in a delay in the planned listing.
