Oleg Babinov
Oleg heads the Group’s Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia practice. He is a regular commentator at conferences and in the media on politics and business in Russia and the former Soviet Union. He was a founder of the Group.
David Claridge
David Claridge was a founding member of our Security Intelligence and Analysis practice in 2001. He was head of this practice until 2012 when he was appointed Chief Information Officer for the company. He is a specialist in terrorism and was involved in the establishment of the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at the University of St Andrews. He is the author of numerous papers, essays and articles on international security.
Walter Courage
Walter had a career in the British Army, retiring at the rank of major general. During his army career he commanded the UN force in Cyprus and also played a key role in negotiating and implementing the drawdown of British Forces from Germany in the early 1990s, for which he was made a Companion of the Bath. He was a founder of the Group.
Rebecca Palser
Rebecca is head of Risk Advisory’s Hong Kong office, which opened in March 2012. A trained barrister, she joined the Group in 2003, and was head of the Litigation Support team prior to taking up the role in Hong Kong.
Henry Pugh
Henry joined Risk Advisory in 1998, shortly after its establishment. He joined the then Business Intelligence practice, and became head of it in 2004. He became Chief Operating Officer Business Intelligence in 2012. Prior to joining Risk Advisory he was a civil servant in the UK Ministry of Defence.
Sal Remtulla
Sal Remtulla is head of Risk Advisory’s Employee Screening practice, a position to which she was appointed in 2005. She joined the Group in 2000.
Chris Rowley
Chris is head of the Washington DC office of Risk Advisory. He joined the Group in 2003 and worked at the headquarters office in London before relocating to the USA in 2010. He has particular expertise in Latin America and is a Spanish speaker.
Rachel Samrén
Rachel joined Risk Advisory as Head of Operations for the Business Intelligence practice in 2010. She joined the company from an industry competitor where she focused on the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. She was appointed Head of the Business Intelligence practice in 2012.
Martin Stone
Martin joined the Group in 2006 from Aon where he was a director of professional risks and special risks. Martin is a Middle East specialist, and an Arabic speaker and is the author of a book on the politics and sociology of Algeria as well as numerous papers and articles on regional themes, including political risk and terrorism.
Evgeny Tarasov
Evgeny was a founder of the Group in 1997. He is Head of Operations of Risk Advisory’s Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia practice, and head of the Moscow office.
Henry Wilkinson
Henry joined Risk Advisory in 2006 and was appointed Head of Intelligence and Analysis in 2012. He has overall responsibility for the Group’s worldwide political and security intelligence gathering, risk and threat assessments and analytical products and services.
Gary Wood
Gary was a founder of Janusian in 2001. He was formerly in the British Army and served for some years in the Special Forces. He is a specialist in security operations and close protection and has deployed all over the globe. He is now head of the Group’s Dubai office.
